Crossroads Chapel celebrated the 5th Sunday with a special service. It’s like God gives us 5 Sundays some months so we can really celebrate all His gifts.
The Adult Bible study was “A love for others” from the love chapter 1 Corinthians 13. We are to love others as Christ loves us. Some of the ways we love others it by patience and kindness. We are not to be boastful, rude, irritable or joyless. Even when life goes bad, Paul reminds us to have faith, hope and the greatest of these s love.
Pastor Mark Henkel led the 5th Sunday worship service by leading in the hymns and telling some of the hymn stories and why the composers wrote them. We also sang some of the congregation’s favorite hymns.
Following the service we joined in the 5th Sunday potluck dinner. We probably have some of the best of luck at Crossroads Chapel because out pot luck dinners includes some very delicious items.
We also had a special treat this Sunday as we welcomed a member that has moved to California to live with her daughter due to health issues. We thank God that Grace and her daughter were there to join us for this service.
Crossroads Chapel doesn’t have a pot luck dinner each Sunday but we always welcome visitors, so join us in the feast of God’s word.
