The temperature seems to be rising every day but Crossroads Chapel’s air conditioner kept us cool and comfortable as we joined in worship and fellowship this Sunday morning.
The Adult class studied “Wisdom for God” from 1 Corinthians 1:20-25; 2: 9-16. Billy Graham would quote from various scriptures by saying “the Bible says. As we study these scriptures, we learn how God led the Bible writers and prophets to lead us to Him and His wisdom throughout the scriptures.
Pastor Mark Henkle’s message was “The Good Shepherd” from Psalm 23. This passage has been memorized by many of us but do we really think about the message from God. Just as a shepherd leads and guides the sheep, God leads and guides us each day. God is our protector, comforter, and provider.
He restores and leads us on the right paths to honor Him. We may face difficult and hard times but His hands will enfold and protect us through it all. His goodness and unfailing kindness shall be with us all of our lives and then we will live with Him forever.

We will be collecting some school supplies for the Rushville Elementary school for the next few weeks.
