NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the registered voters of the City of Houston Lake that an election has been called by the Board of Aldermen to be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
The official ballot of said election should be substantially in the following form.

Question
Shall the City of Houston Lake, Missouri impose a local use tax at the same rate as the total local sales tax rate, provided that if the local sales tax rate is reduced or raised by voter approval, the local use tax rate shall also be reduced or raised by the same action?

Completely fill in the oval next to the question response of your choice. If you are in favor of the question, completely fill in the oval opposite “YES”. If you are opposed to the question, completely fill in the oval opposite “NO”.
